SO2 Sensor– Sulfur Dioxide Sensor

Learn about the SO2 sensor

A SO2  gas sensor is a device that detects the presence of SO2 in the air. These sensors are commonly used in industrial settings where SO2 emissions are likely to occur, such as power plants, oil refineries, and chemical factories.

They are also used in environmental monitoring applications to measure ambient levels of SO2 in the atmosphere.

SO2 sensor Features

1. Adopt imported first-line electrochemical gas sensor, stable and durable.

2. Range 0-20ppm, 0-2000ppm optional, other ranges can also be customized.

3. High measuring accuracy, up to ± 3%FS, repeatability up to 2%.

4. The field power supply can use 12~24V DC wide voltage power supply, can adapt to a variety of DC power supply.

5. This product adopts wall-mounted waterproof shell, easy to install, high waterproof degree.

FAQ

WHY USE THE SO2 SENSOR?

Sulfur dioxide gas (SO2) is a toxic gas with a strong pungent smell. It exists in the atmosphere in very low concentrations and is naturally released during volcanic eruptions. Inhalation of sulfur dioxide is related to respiratory diseases and breathing difficulties. It is also a precursor to acid rain and atmospheric particulate matter. Sulfur dioxide gas can be an active ingredient or waste from several different industrial processes.

WHERE TO USE THE SO2 SENSOR?

SO2 sensor application range: environmental protection industry, cement plant; chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power; sulfuric acid manufacturing plant, pharmaceutical plant, food processing, etc.
